Curb appeal is a very important resell feature, and a new door is a low cost way to make a big difference. Steel or rod iron doors, high-gloss hues, and contrasting colors are some great choices.

This will not only help boost curb appeal but will be something that will continue to help your home value. This is on the pricier side but landscaping is almost always worth the cost.
