Please join us for the 11th Annual Stingray 5K, 1 Mile and 50 yard run/walk which will be held on Saturday, May 4th in Sandbridge, as well as for our Race Expo and traditional Spaghetti Dinner which will be held on Friday, May 3rd. The scenic race course will give our runners and walkers a fast, flat route as well as provide families an opportunity to enjoy the beach once the race has ended. New Sand Forms Storm Surge Defense
We're still several months away from Hurricane Season, but the sand replenishment project now underway should help a lot of people sleep a little easier come June. Update on Sand Replenishment for Sandbridge
Dredging operations are scheduled to begin this week on the sand replenishment project for Sandbridge. Last week, contractor Weeks Marine moved a submerged pipeline offshore. That pipe connects the underwater pump to the discharge pipes onshore. The entire project is expected to be completed by the middle of May.
