Sandbridge, VA. Homes Sales June 2012

June was another record month for Sandbridge single family homes sales.  Seven homes closed in June. The spread between the highest, $1,725,000 and the lowest, $405,000 reflects the diversity in our community.

Oceanfront, Third row and Canal homes were where the action was last month. The geographic and price breakdown is indicative of a market in recovery. “Early adaptor” buyers are buying oceanfront homes, lower priced homes and unique properties.

Condo sales continue to be hampered by the difficulty in getting financing. Cash buyers interested in acquiring a condo for vacation rental investment or beach retreats are in a strong bargaining position.
